Anushka was in a movie called Band Baaja Baaraat with Ranveer, where she played a Punjabi-American girl of middle class who sets up her wedding planning business. The movie got positive reviews. In Band Baaja Baaraat, Anushka's three-film deal under the Yash Raj Films banner was completed.
